Een interventie

D.D. Trans’s work is often humorous thanks to small but not insignificant modifications. The objects placed in the museum are remnants of his interventions during MDD's reopening.

D.D. Trans plays with the recognisability of everyday utility objects he encounters in DIY shops, among other places. The known context of the objects falls away completely and the transformations and reversals cause simultaneous confusion and pleasure.
