ATELIER E.B.

Atelier E.B. is a collaboration between textile designer Beca Lipscombe (Edinburgh, 1973) and artist Lucy McKenzie (Glasgow, 1977).

Atelier E.B was established in 2007 and the duo launched their own clothing line in 2011. In addition to creating fashion collections, their attention goes to to the design of interiors, events and publications. Cooperation forms the basis of their practice, which is characterized by the use of artisanal materials, qualitative production methods and the development of new, ethical forms of distribution and display. Lipscombe and McKenzie place art and design on an equal footing and eschew any form of categorisation.
