"Electric Fairy" (1971) is Derek Jarman's debut film, an experimental 6-minute work filmed on 16mm. This early film showcases Jarman's emerging avant-garde style, combining spontaneous action with carefully composed images. "Imagining October" (1984) is a powerful short film made at the height of the Cold War.
