Lecture on Belgian female artists in the interwar period

Art historian Christiane Struyven highlights ten Belgian female artists who, after the First World War, moved to Paris and London, where they drew inspiration from the international avant-garde. With their innovative vision, they introduced post-Cubism, Constructivism, and modern dance to Brussels, breaking away from the prevailing traditional art forms. In doing so, they revitalized the Belgian art scene.
