Workshop drawing and painting

In this workshop, we will draw inspiration from the beautiful paintings of Brazilian artist Patricia Leite. She transforms memories, video stills and travel photographs into atmospheric paintings on wooden panels. Her work is characterized by highly saturated colours, a distinctive interplay of light and large fields of colour.

Together with artists Emma Crombé and Louis Dewitte, you will explore the space between abstraction and figuration. Using a variety of techniques, you will create your own artwork, translating a personal memory into a simple yet evocative visual composition. You are welcome to take your work home at the end of the workshop.
