This subtle permanent installation - a single brass line in the concrete floor of the museum's patio hall - by Lieve D’hondt was made possible through the crowdfunding THE FLOOR IS YOURS which was an integral part of the work process.With this work, D’hondt placed the museum's new floor at the heart of the project as a place of connection and shared support.
Her intervention is a reaction to the specific location in which she plays with the codes of presence/absence, time, space, architecture and appearance.
