Personal data we process

Mw Jules Dhondt-Dhaenens Foundation / Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens collects, processes and uses personal data to provide services and communicate about our programme and content. This is done when making a reservation, placing an order in our webshop and/or subscribing to our newsletter. This may include name, address, e-mail address, date of birth, telephone number and bank account number. 

We also process your data for the purpose of obtaining government subsidies.

Public images

A photographer is often present during events. These photos may be published on our website, via social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) or in our printed matter. During events, there may also be filming. These images may be published on the website, on Facebook, via Instagram, via a newsletter and/or on the video channel of Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens. Audiences may be recognised on these.

Storage of data

How we secure personal data Mrs Jules Dhondt-Dhaenens Foundation / Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. The storage of the data we collect through Google Analytics is owned by Google and is done in the EU or US under US jurisdiction. This storage is retained for 14 months.

We store the data we collect through our ticket sales and booking system in our database for 7 years. We do this because it is the only way we can make anonymous visitor and trend analyses. Apart from a group of regular customers, many visit us only once every few years. Only by being able to analyse over a longer period of time can we chart visitor analyses and trends.

Intellectual property rights

The contents of this site, including trademarks, logos, drawings, data, product or company names, texts, images, etc. are protected by intellectual rights and belong to Mrs Jules Dhondt-Dhaenens Foundation or entitled third parties. The full or partial presentation, reproduction, sale, distribution, publication, adaptation and use for commercial purposes in any manner of Mw Jules Dhondt-Dhaenens Foundation and its content is prohibited without the prior written consent of Mw Jules Dhondt-Dhaenens Foundation.
